The rooms are spacious, but no fridge or TV. Limited and expensive menu at the on-site restaurant. Breakfast varies depending on the cook. Nice beach access for sunbathing and swimming. Friendly and helpful staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Thotupola in Sri Lanka, and it was a truly amazing experience. the view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, with a private beach where you can enjoy a peaceful sunrise while indulging in a delicious breakfast. the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with amenities like air conditioning, a hairdryer, and hot water for showers. the owner, Peter, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even taking us to the supermarket to shop for a BBQ dinner. He also prepared an incredible dinner for us, showcasing his culinary skills. the atmosphere at the hotel is calm and relaxing, perfect for those seeking a break from the crowds. the staff, including the two lovely ladies who serve breakfast and take care of the rooms, were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I highly recommend Villa Thotupola for anyone wanting to enjoy a beachfront stay away from the hustle and bustle. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property. 🌟.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly and made us feel right at home. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests we had. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice view of the surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. The hotel's location was perfect - it was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind. The nearby bars provided a lively atmosphere if we wanted some evening entertainment.
That there wasn't a restaurant on-site for lunch and dinner, so we had to go to a nearby restaurant. It would have been more convenient if the hotel offered meals throughout the day.
